Rainbow Chameleon

It's no secret on this blog that Albie isn't loving picture books of the paperback kind at the moment. I don't know if it's because he can't interact with them as well as board books but it's quite frustrating particularly when all his peers are fine with them!

Rainbow Chameleon is a great book to read with Albie because it's a hardback and it has really interesting interaction. It's not got touch and feely bits or flaps that he can rip off but spinning bits and pulling bits which sees animals appearing and the chameleon changing colour.

It's a lovely story too as the chameleon has lost the love of his life and has to hide from animals as he goes in search of her. It has of course a happy ending and a lovely interactive spinning dial which sees the chameleons change into all the colours of the rainbow.

We definitely like to read this one.
